Last weekend SAGARDI Basque Country Chefs participated in the meat lovers festival Meatopia in London.

Meatopia festival is undoubtedly one of the great world events for great meat lovers. For three days, 56 chefs from all over the world, including Mikel Lz de Viñaspre by SAGARDI, gathered at the Tobacco Dock in London to grill thousand of kg of meat in 132 grills.

The mythical Basque grill of SAGARDI has not stopped roasting txuletones of an exceptional Rubia Gallega beef that have delighted the English meatlovers.. About 350 kg of SAGARDI-style roast beef and a whole show of cut and grill to show the world the SAGARDI txuleton.

The Cutting Room has also been attended by Imanol Jaca, the meat selector of the SAGARDI Group, to explain the benefits of the fat and old cow and the culture of the Basque txuleton.

The presence of SAGARDI at this festival is a great support for the international projection of the Basque txuleton concept of SAGARDI and for SAGARDI London itself, which now exactly one year has opened its doors.

SAGARDI Basque Country Chefs have also been present in the last two editions of the Taste of London gastronomic festival, one of the great quotations for the foodies of London.
